Being a CCA ally means that your organization is sympathetic to our mission - please read the Carfree Manifesto - and you are open to cooperation and being a part of our network. You can receive our monthly newsletter and will be first in line to be invited to attend our conferences or join us on projects. There is no membership fee.

This section explains how you can get involved with Carfree Cities Alliance!
Add your organization to our alliance
All organizations that share our goals or engage in similar work are encouraged to Join the conversation as a dedicated member. Visit that page to find out more. There you can download the membership form and send it back to us. Being a member is free of charge!
Next, you can become listed as an allied organization on our website. To do that, just fill out the simple web form on the Our Allies page. Let us know once you've taken these steps, as we'll be sure to welcome you personally to our network! Write to us at downtown@carfreealliance.org.
Put your city and your activities on the map
If you have already listed your organization as an ally and you are wondering how you can add your awesome activities to your country's respective page, choose from the following options:

If your country does not yet have its own page, you are welcome to include your country and include relevant descriptions on a new, dedicated page! Start by sending us an email to downtown@carfreealliance.org. We'll help you set that up.

If your country already has a page, but your city is not listed, or you want to highlight your current activities, then please get in touch with the regional connector, who is the contact person for the given region, and also liaison with CCA. He or she will be happy to advise you. You can find their information at the bottom of each regional page.
Develop and expand your carfree activities
Are you keen on setting up projects and activities related to carfree and livable cities? Great! If this involves starting a new working group or building a network of enthusiastic supporters, we are ready to help. We created a Toolkit full of ideas, advice and support for you and your team. We’ve invested a lot of love and care in this, so we hope it will benefit your work!

If you are already running projects and could make use of extra inspiration, ideas and information, please do make the most out of our Toolkit Series. In particular we have lots of good stuff for you in Delicious Advice or Tactics and Strategy. The chief objective is to help you become more effective in your campaigns and projects.
